Our Story

Ambuja and Harsh first crossed paths in middle school, where they couldn’t stand each other. A few years later, in high school, that rivalry turned into friendship, and by 2014, into something much more. What started as teenage banter has since grown into nearly a decade of love, laughter, and adventures together.

From the very beginning, their journey has been defined by ambition and resilience. College took them to opposite ends of the country, and even after undergrad, their careers kept them in different cities. Long distance became their normal, with countless FaceTimes, airport hellos, and bittersweet goodbyes. Then came the pandemic, when lockdowns unexpectedly brought them back to the same city in Canada for the first time in years. But in 2021, Harsh’s work took him to Seattle while Ambuja stayed in Brampton. It wasn’t until 2022, when Ambuja began medical school in Richmond, VA, and Harsh transitioned to working remotely, that they were finally able to build a life together in the same place.

After nine years of dating, Harsh proposed in 2023 during an unforgettable trip to Greece. Now, they’re cherishing the little things they had once longed for: cooking together, going on regular date nights, binging shows, traveling without limits, and simply sharing everyday life side by side.

Their story is one of patience, resilience, and joy, and it’s only just beginning.
